TREE TRIMMING

Our annual tree trimming is this Sunday, 4pm, at Frusco Steaks (Frankford & Wellington). Weather looks promising. Hope to see you there. It was a lot of fun last year (honest).

HOLIDAY PARTY

We finally have a date and time for our 1st annual holiday party. To make it easier on everyone at this hectic time of year, it will be a few days after Xmas.

All paid-up members of the Mayfair Business Association are invited to attend. Food and beverages will be supplied by the MBA.

Sunday, December 4th, 2011 • 4:00 p.m.

Santa, Christmas Cookies, Live Music, Stuff for the Kids, Ed Kelly, founder of the Pennypack Concerts and this year's parade Grand Marshall, will light the tree, etc.

**The Friends of Mayfair Memorial Playground, in conjunction with Avenue Chiropractic, are hosting a toys for tots collection site. The Friends were given a huge gift this year, in the form of a new playground, by Giant and Kaboom and they believe it is necessary to give back. Donations will also be collected at Avenue Chiropractic (on Frankford Ave) if you are unable to attend the Christmas Tree Lighting.

Toys for Tots

Avenue Chiropractic is continuing their annual tradition of collecting toys for Toys for Tots. This year they are teaming up with other Mayfair businesses.

The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

You can drop off new, unwrapped toys at the following location:

- Avenue Chiropractic, 6233 Franford Ave

- The Grey Lodge Pub, 6235 Franford Ave

- J.B.'s Cuts, Mayfair Center, Frankford and Hellerman
