Mayfair Fallen Heroes Run and Walk 
Honoring Police Officer Chuck Cassidy.

The Mayfair Business Association's 5th Annual Mayfair May Fair will as usual start off the Annual Mayfair Fallen Heroes Run and Walk. This year's Mayfair Fallen Heroes Run and Walk will take place on Saturday, Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 8:30am.

This 5K (3 mile) run and walk will begin at Sackett Street and Ryan Avenue. Runners and walkers will travel around Pennypack Park and the Abraham Lincoln High School and Austin Meehan Middle School campuses and finish at the Mayfair Memorial Playground. Click here to see the run route.

All proceeds will benefit the Hero Thrill Show Fund, which provides college scholarships for the children of Philadelphia police officers and fire fighters killed or disabled in the line of duty.

Every year, the money will be given to the fund in the name of a fallen police officer or fire fighter. This year we are honoring Police Officer Chuck Cassidy.

The cost of the run/walk is $20 before May 15, 2013 and $25 after that.
