Google Calendar Change and Next General Meeting
Google Calendar Change
Instead of having separate calendars for all the various Mayfair community groups with lots of redundant events, there will now be one unified calendar. If you are subscribed to the MayfairBiz Google calender, please remove that one add the new Mayfair Google Calendar. You can do that by either searching for the Mayfair public calendar in Google Calendar or by going to our Calendar Page and clicking the + Google Calendar icon at the bottom of the calendar.
Next General Meeting
The next general meeting of the Mayfair Business Association will be Thursday, October 17th at 10am at Republic Bank at Cottman and Frankford Avenues.
We originally agreed to October 10th at the meeting but that had to be changed. Please update your calendar.

Thirty One!!
June is winding down but there are still great June specials to be had. Thirty-One's most popular product, the Large Utility Tote, is available at a great low price all June. I'm not even kidding you that I was skeptical about getting one of these but I had already bought some other stuff and it was $10 (just like the June special--hint, hint). I was thinking "What am I going to PUT in this?" The answer: EVERYTHING!!! The kids toys, soccer balls, beach gear, dirty laundry, groceries....everything. I've never been more happy with a purchase and the versatility of one product.
See it here in the cutest flip flop print!! Gaaaahhh! Cute, summer overload!!
You want it now don't you? Of course you do!!!! Contact Melinda at 215-964-3635 , email her at
ken92min@comcast.net or visit Melinda's Thirty One Website.
Melinda can also be found at most of the Mayfair Farmers Market's. Our next one is on Sunday, June 23rd from 9am to 1pm!!

Mayfair Fallen Heroes Run and the Mayfair May Fair!!!
Before you head over to the MFMF make sure you support a GREAT cause by either running or walking in the 2013 Mayfair Fallen Heroes Run 5K honoring Officer Chuck Cassidy. You can still register online here until Wednesday night or you can register the day of the run starting at 7:30am in the Lincoln High School Parking Lot on Ryan Avenue. The race begins at 8:30am and goes around Lincoln High School and Pennypack Park.
After you are done setting the world record (ok, the Mayfair record, but either way, it's more than I'm doing) you can head up to Frankford and Cottman for a neighborhood celebration sponsored by the Mayfair Business Association. We've got the Neighborhood Awards, a craft fair, the Mayfair Town Watch dunk tank. The Original Soft Pretzel Factories Customer Appreciation Day is also being held with games, Moon Bounce and a pretzel eating contest!
Live music from AJ Slick & Soul to Soul, Mike LeCompt, and REV, military vehicles and entertainers. Bissirri's Pansy Garden and the Horticulture Academy of Lincoln High School will also be helping kids make their own potted plants!
It's a fun-filled family day so bring the kids up to the Avenue for some fun!!
